WOW!! Well done Desty's
There were so many delays to the work and with the weather looking bad Linda and I flew off to Lanzarote for a weeks R&R. We were not sure we would every get the boat in the water in time for a summer holiday, so we wanted to bank some good weather.
We arrived back and only a few days to launch or so we thought.
Sea Power just had to renew cutlass bearing and we received a phone call to tell us that when detaching the prop from the stern gear the aqua-drive disintegrated. Being Discovery nothing is standard a new aqua drive was delivered but had to be returned because the one fitted to our boat was a hybrid of two different aqua-drives… £2000 later and we are ready to launch.
How resplendent she looked, it had been a complete pain getting the work done but what a result. A fully working boat with new navigation equipment, re-painted new water-maker, we were ready to go nothing else could do wrong.
