Salcombe here we come.
We waited for the generator water sensor to arrive before leaving and yes it was the problem, phew! On the way to Salcombe it was warm and calm so we anchored off Blackpool Sands for a quick swim, and whilst there is no actual photographic evidence I can confirm that Linda did indeed swim in English waters. We had a brief stop and some lunch and continued to Salcombe.
We arrived in Salcombe to a great welcome from one of the bosuns in one of the Harbour Masters launches, whereupon we were not only allocated a buoy next to Lutine but he also helpfully helped us to tie up to the buoy. Once tied up we opened a bottle of Rose and a beer for me and later went ashore.

"I didn't really 'get' Salcombe until this visit"
